Document Collection

Turn a lender's document request into a clear checklist and coordinated follow-up, without asking borrowers to send sensitive records through a public form.

Make document requests easier to follow

A borrower may receive several requests during processing, and the difference between an initial checklist and a later lender request is not always obvious. Document collection support helps identify the requested item, the applicable period, and the intended recipient. Requirements depend on the lender, loan product, and individual file; there is no universal checklist that guarantees a complete application.

Track receipt separately from acceptance

The collection workflow records which requested items have arrived and which still need follow-up. If a statement appears incomplete, a page is missing, or a file cannot be opened, the issue can be raised with the appropriate contact rather than treating the request as finished. The lender or underwriter decides whether the documentation satisfies its requirements; collecting an item does not mean it has been approved.

Agree on a secure transfer method first

Before documents are exchanged, your team must confirm the authorized transfer channel, permitted recipients, and access arrangements. Our public contact and intake forms are for basic business inquiries only. Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank details, tax returns, or mortgage documents through those forms. Use the inquiry form to discuss your workflow, not to upload borrower records.
